

Dear Mindfulness Practitioners,
We are pleased to inform you that our group practice this week will be focused on mindful ways we can deal with stress in our work environment even if we are out of a job and merely thinking about work.
Dr. Manijeh Motaghy, our Professional and Organization Development Consultant, will address meditation and mindfulness in the context of our work environments. Consistently listening to the concerns of our community members, she works hard to develop models that enhance our abilities in recognizing barriers such as stress in our way of living healthier work lives.
As a behavioral scientist whose mission is to optimize individual, teams, and institutional effectiveness, Manijeh practices Mindfulness on a full time basis. She treats her own experiences and interactions as if in a laboratory of sensing, feeling, observing, testing and creating new areas of awareness about barriers to well-being and success.
This Tuesday night, July 14, she will explore the impact of stress on our actions and learning to recognize this process in order to make better choices.
